Polls & Member Voting

The Polls feature lets you create quick surveys and voting questions that appear on your club website. Use polls to gather feedback, let members vote on club decisions, or simply increase engagement.

Creating a Poll

  1. Go to Website Management > Polls.
  2. Click New Poll.
  3. Enter a Question (e.g. "Which venue should we fish next month?").
  4. Add the available Options using the options repeater — you can add as many as needed.
  5. Set an optional Expiry Date after which voting closes automatically.
  6. Toggle Active to publish the poll on your website.
  7. Click Save.

Viewing Results

Open any poll to see a live breakdown of votes per option, including total vote count and percentage split. Results update in real time as members vote.

Poll Settings

  • Allow multiple votes — Choose whether members can vote more than once.
  • Members only — Restrict voting to logged-in club members.
  • Show results before voting — Let members see existing results before they vote.

Managing Comments

If comments are enabled on a poll, you can review and moderate them from Website Management > Poll Comments. Delete any inappropriate comments directly from this section.

Deactivating a Poll

Toggle the Active switch off at any time to remove the poll from the website without deleting it. You can reactivate it later if needed.
