Creating a Team Member

This guide explains how to create and manage team member profiles using the ClubNest Dashboard. Team members can include coaches, volunteers, committee members, ambassadors, or anyone you'd like to feature on your website.

Each profile can include a name, role, bio, contact details, and a photo. These team member entries can then be displayed on a public-facing team or staff page.

Step 1: Access the Team Members Section

  1. Log in to the ClubNest Dashboard.
  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Website Content.
  3. Click on Team Members.
  4. Click Create to add a new team member.

Step 2: Fill in Team Member Details

You will be presented with a form to enter information about the team member.

Required Fields

  • Name
    Enter the full name of the team member.
  • Role
    Specify their role (e.g. Head Coach, Safeguarding Officer, Committee Member).

Optional Fields

  • Biography
    Provide a short biography. This could include experience, background, responsibilities, or achievements.
  • Email Address
    Add their email address if you want it displayed or used for contact purposes.
  • Phone Number
    Add a contact phone number if relevant.
  • Photo
    Upload a profile picture using the media picker. This image will appear on the frontend team listing.

Step 3: Save the Team Member

Once all the necessary details are filled out:

  1. Click Create to save the new team member profile.
  2. They will now appear in the Team Members list.
  3. You can return to this list at any time to edit or update their details.

Editing or Removing Team Members

  • To edit a team member, click the pencil icon next to their name.
  • To delete one or more team members, select them and use the bulk delete option.

Best Practices

  • Use clear, consistent photos for all team members to maintain a professional website appearance.
  • Keep biographies concise and relevant to the club's mission.
  • Ensure email and phone numbers are correct if publicly displayed.
  • Regularly review the list and update roles or contact details as needed.
