Moderating the Forum

Keeping your forum a safe and welcoming space is important. Clubnest gives admins a full suite of moderation tools to manage content and handle rule-breaking members.

Reviewing Reported Content

  1. Go to Website Management > Forum > Reports.
  2. Each report shows the reported thread or post, who reported it, and the reason given.
  3. Click the report to review the content.
  4. Take action:
    • Dismiss — The report is unfounded; no action needed.
    • Delete Content — Remove the offending post or thread.
    • Ban User — Issue a forum ban to the member who posted it.

Issuing a Forum Ban

  1. Go to Website Management > Forum > Bans.
  2. Click New Ban.
  3. Select the user to ban.
  4. Enter the reason for the ban (this is stored for your records).
  5. Set an optional expiry date for a temporary ban, or leave blank for a permanent ban.
  6. Click Save.

Lifting a Ban

To lift a ban, go to Forum > Bans, find the user, and click Unban. The ban is removed immediately.

Editing Posts Directly

If a post contains minor rule violations but does not need to be deleted entirely, admins can edit the content directly from Forum > Posts.
