Moderating the Forum
Keeping your forum a safe and welcoming space is important. Clubnest gives admins a full suite of moderation tools to manage content and handle rule-breaking members.
Reviewing Reported Content
- Go to Website Management > Forum > Reports.
- Each report shows the reported thread or post, who reported it, and the reason given.
- Click the report to review the content.
- Take action:
- Dismiss — The report is unfounded; no action needed.
- Delete Content — Remove the offending post or thread.
- Ban User — Issue a forum ban to the member who posted it.
Issuing a Forum Ban
- Go to Website Management > Forum > Bans.
- Click New Ban.
- Select the user to ban.
- Enter the reason for the ban (this is stored for your records).
- Set an optional expiry date for a temporary ban, or leave blank for a permanent ban.
- Click Save.
Lifting a Ban
To lift a ban, go to Forum > Bans, find the user, and click Unban. The ban is removed immediately.
Editing Posts Directly
If a post contains minor rule violations but does not need to be deleted entirely, admins can edit the content directly from Forum > Posts.
