Forum Overview

The Clubnest Forum is a community discussion space built into your club website. Members can start threads, post replies, and engage with other club members on topics relevant to your club.

How the Forum Is Organised

  • Categories — Top-level sections (e.g. "Match Reports", "Tackle Talk", "General Chat").
  • Threads — Individual discussion topics within a category.
  • Posts — Individual replies within a thread.

Managing Forum Categories

  1. Go to Website Management > Forum > Categories.
  2. Click New Category.
  3. Enter a name and optional description.
  4. Set the sort order to control where it appears in the category list.
  5. Toggle Active to publish the category.

Moderating Threads & Posts

As an admin, you can view, edit, and delete any thread or post from:

  • Forum > Threads — Manage thread titles, content, and status.
  • Forum > Posts — Review and remove individual replies.

Forum Reports

Members can report threads or posts that violate club rules. Reported items appear in Forum > Reports for admin review. You can investigate and take action (delete content or ban the user) directly from the report.

Forum Bans

If a member repeatedly breaks forum rules, you can issue a ban from Forum > Bans. Bans can be temporary (with an expiry date) or permanent. Banned users cannot post in the forum until the ban expires or is lifted.
